Their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar C. Rowe made their home at the corner of Grady Avenue and Markham Road in the 1930s and 1940s. Mr. and Mrs Stan Thomas (Janice Mills) of Myrtle Beach, S. C. spent the weekend with Mrs. Thomas’ mother, Mrs. Norma Mills in Tryon. Mrs. Pat Martin and daughter, Miss Susan, have returned to Nashville, Tenn, after visiting Mrs. Martin’s mother, Mrs. Charles Reakirt on Skyuka Road.
