Patrick Cauble
Patrick Cauble will be at the
Fine Arts Center Sunday at 4
p.m. A singer, who accompanies
himself on the lute or guitar, his
songs range from Renaissance to
modern, but his clear voice lends
itself especially to the treatment
of English lute songs of the
Elizabethan period.
A Visiting Artist for 1979-80, he
has held classes and done
demonstration work in all of the
Polk County and Tryon City
Schools this year. The event is
being sponsored by Isothermal
Community College and the Polk
County Schools, and there will be
no admission charged
He taught at the North Carolina
Schools of Arts and Wingate
College before entering the North
Carolina Visiting Artist Program
in 1976.
