The “Proclamation" was is sued in National Library Week in recognition of the Lanier Library Association’s 90 years of service to the community. In its 90th anniversary month this subscrip tion Library Association has a membership of 550 families and a collection of 24,000 books. For over nine decades the Library Association has not only served the Community by providing books for study in the Library's “home" and for circulation, but in addition it has furnished cultural activities in the form of lectures and programs and the Association membership has participated in civic projects.
