Texas are visiting relatives in this area and will attend the Chapman Reunion on the 21st in Transylvania County. Mr Chapman is a graduate of Tryon High School and played on the Tryon football team. Mrs. Helen (Lynch) Hudson of Tryon attended a seminar at Isothermal Community College over the weekend where she received training in Laubach for tutoring reading and reading disabilities with the Adult Classes she instructs on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Roseland Center. Tiger Band Highlights Game The Tryon Tiger Band performed at halftime at Friday night’s football game. Drum Major Eddie Dunton brought the crowd to their feet as he performed a front somersault over the band to open the half- time show. The Tiger Band performed a well executed show to the music of Pagliacci, and Torna A Surriento, which featured Trumpet soloist Austin Neal.
