The ceremony will oe the Great Smokies Hilton. Read The Bulletin For Local News Pacolet Baptist Homecoming Sunday The annual Homecoming at Pacolet Baptist Church is Sunday, October Sth. The 11 o'clock message will be brought by the Rev. Norman Philbeck, a former pastor, who is now pastor of South Florence Baptist Church, Florence, S. C. A covered dish luncheon follows All friends and former members are invited. At about 2 o'clock, there will be a singing service in the sanctuary featuring congregational singing. Also featured will be “The Foundations” a nine member group from Spartanburg led by Dale Wells. A love gift offering will be received for them. Featured also will be the following soloists: the Rev. William Willingham of Edneyville; Fred Powell of Tryon; Miss Kim Porter of Tryon. The Pacolet Church Choir led by Mrs. Clarence Rhodes, minister of music will also present several numbers. All Time High The Landrum Lions Club raised $2,010.75 from their Candy Day solicitations.
