They will be furnished raincoats, hats, belts and badges and paid $30 a month District I will be the first school district in Spartanburg County to use paid safety patrols on a district-wide basis. “Sooner Than You Think” Leslie Pitton will be guest speaker for the eleven o clock worship service Saturday morning, October 11, in the Tryon Seventh-day Adventist Church He will be speaking about the second coming of Christ, and has entitled his sermon "Sooner Than You Think". The trio left by air from Charlotte for the three day pageant that begins today with a get acquainted luncheon for the mayors and contestants from 18 towns across the Country bearing the name Columbus.
