A reception followed at the home of Mrs. Van Liew Frohlich. The bride, escorted by her father, wore a candlelight satin gown with a flounced hemline and train and a Queen Anne neckline and bodice with shadow sleeves. The veil came originally from Germany. The bride's sister, Mrs. Joyce Welborn of High Point, North Carolina, was matron of honor. Also attending as bridesmaids were, Barbara Jo Hyder of Landrum, South Carolina, Mary Driscoll of Gastonia. North Carolina, and Mrs. Peggy Wardlaw of Greenville, South Carolina. Carrie Johnston of Clemson, South Carolina served as the flowergirl. Berton Hyder of Landrum, South Carolina served as the groom’s bestman and the ushers were, the groom’s brother, Michael Frohlich of Landrum, South Carolina, Bob Welborn of High Point, North Carolina, and Stephen Oswald of Columbus, North Carolina. Robbie Welborn of High Point, North Carolina, nephew of the bride, served as the ringbearer. The bride is a graduate of The University of South Carolina at Columbia and is employed by Daniel International in Greenville, South Carolina. The groom attended The Hill School at Pottstown, Pennsylvania and recently graduated from Clemson University After a wedding trip to Nashville, Tennessee, the couple will make their home in Landrum BROWN OIL CO.
