Ohio, he had made his home here for the past 12 years, moving here from Avon, Ohio. He was a commercial decorator. He was a member of the Tryon Kiwanis Club, having served as secretary, and a member of the Tryon United Methodist Church. He and his wife, Helen Christman Bollenbacher, would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Thanks giving Day In addition to his wife he is survived by two sisters, Mrs Lyle K. Spriggs.
