C., widower of Bertha Plumley Morris, died Sunday morning in St. Luke’s Hospital after a long illness. A native of Old Fort, he was a son of Mrs. Emma White Morris of Landrum and the late R. F. Morris. He was a farmer and a member of Woodmen of the World.' Also surviving: daughter, Mrs. Glenda P. Belue of Landrum; Step son, Ray S. Plumley of Landrum, sisters, Mrs. Lillian Wooten of Travelers Rest, S C., Mrs. Bell Morris of Lakeland, Fla., Mrs. Nell Atkins of Campobello, S. C., Mrs. Maxine Leigher of Anderson, S. C. and Mrs. Betty Lemmons of Greer, S. C.; one grandchild. Services will be held today (Tuesday) at 2 p.m. at Petty Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Messer and Rev. Harold Thompson officiating.
