Christmas Program At Fine Arts Center Like a good violin, which traditionally mellows with age, the Rotary Community Chorus, now in its tenth year, is reaching new levels of tonal quality and resonance. The Chorus has benefitted from the influx of new voices which, joined to the solid core of original seasoned singers, have added immesaurably to the capabilities of this amazing choral body. For this year’s Christmas program, the second Feast of Christmas, conductor Joe Erwin is working with about eighty voices, the largest group ever assembled for the Rotary Community Chorus. The increased size of the chorus is helpful not only for the larger volume but, perhaps more importantly, for the improved musical blend. The Christmas program will range from numbers of folksy lullabys and joyous dance to a selection of more sophisticated music of Massiah quality. Numbers of everybody's favorites, like Joy to the World, Silent Night, etc., will be WANTED To Purchase 10 to 15 ft. White Pines for transplanting.
