Admission will be $2 for everyone. C., to Frank Kenneth McFarland. III of Tryon. N. C. Miss Grigg was graduated from Polk Central High School and Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, N. C. she is an instructor at Paul M. Dorman High School and Spartanburg Technical College Mr. McFarland is the son of Mr and Mrs. Frank Kenneth McFarland, Jr of 200 Freeman Hill Rd., Tryon, N. C. A graduate of Tryon High School and Wofford College in Spartanburg, S C., he is affiliated with McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon. N. C. and presently attending Gupton- Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, Ga. A June 27th weddding is planned at the Tryon Presbyterian Church Book Sale President Joseph L. Knowlton of the Lanier Library Board has announced according to an ad that on Sat., Dec. 6 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. there will be a sale of books in the Library located at the corner of Chestnut St. and Melrose Ave. in Tryon. Approximately 500 books win oe for sale at prices ranging from 10 cents to 75 cents. Included will be novels, mysteries, biographies, childrens' books and more. Like all libraries, big and small, the Lanier Library has acquired more books than it can shelve or store in its building. The Library Board has appointed a Book Disposition Committee of Mrs. Franklin Basler, Chairman Mrs. G. Freeman Brooks and Mrs. Mildred Turnbull.
