Services for George
Washington Champion. 87, of the
Pcniel community. Rt. 1, Tryon,
widower of May Champion were
held Sunday at 3 p m. at Peniel
Baptist Church with the Rev.
Wm. C. Page, Jr. and Rev.
Malcolm Ross officiating. Burial
was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Champion died Thursday.
Petty Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.
