Spika Resignation Final President Howard J. Spika of St Luke's Hospital will resign July 1 this year, according to Chairman 0. 0. Paulsell, who read Mr. Spika's letter ol resignation at last week's meeting of the Governing Board. Mr Paulsell pointed out that Mr. Spika had been persuaded to stay on two more years after he wished to resign in 1979. ‘ There are no words to express how much Howard Spika has done for St Luke’s Hospital during the 15 years he has served it". Mr. Paulsell said. "He's entitled to his retirement. We'll just have to move on from here." It will do scanning in 10 minutes of all parts of the body, scanning which takes more than an hour with the present worn out equipment. It will immensely broaden the services of St. Luke’s Hospital.
