Arizona State won its fifth NCAA College World Series title with a 7-4 win over Oklahoma State Monday night Tryon Little Theater Officers Elected Last week at Hearthstone Inn the Tryon Little Theater held its annual meeting and picnic. Around 125 members and guests attended the business meeting. The following board members were elected for a three year term of office: Connie Junker, John Young and Lynwood Giacomini. Elected as officers were Ed Glenn, president. Connie Junker, vice president. George Stothoff. secretary and Al Daniels, treasurer. Membership chairperson, Babs Cavendish reported that the TLT has well iver 900 members and was congratulated by outgoing oresident Jack Kendall for a job well done. Al Daniels, treasurer, gave a short report that delighted the audience. Jack Kendal) turned the gavel over to the new president, Ed Glenn who called on Homer Brice.
