Price 10c Per Copy Planning Board Meets Thursday The Polk County Planning & Zoning Board will meet Thursday, August 13, at the Courthouse Annex. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. Golf Cancer Tourney Winners Named Twenty-six teams competed in the Walter Hagen Cancer Tournament for Men on August 3rd. The Handicap Division was won by the team of Bob Kinney, Howard Carpenter, Ross Pierce and Lou Hoskyns, III with a low net score of 56. The teams of Fred Roper, Ed Rousey, Jeff Rousey, J. Foster; Ray Foster, Bill McFarland, Dee Preston and Lloyd McKaig tied for 2nd with 57 totals. The scratch division was won by Cecil Turner, Fred Edwards, Jerry Burns and Fred Edwards^ Jr. on the third extra hole in a playoff with David Foster, Kris Weaver, Rick Murray and Gary Bridges.
