The Tryon Kiwanis Club will meet Tuesday at 12:45 p.m. at the Pacolet River Plantation. The guest speaker will be Ms. Jackie Fisher, who will give an Update on Hospice. Ms. Fisher, who is a social worker at St. Luke’s Hospital is the Medical Social Worker for the Polk County Hospice and serves on the Hospice Board of Directors. Dr. Robert E. The estimated appraised value of Lake Lanier and the 10.35 acres is $1,500,000. Charity Bridge The Tryon Duplicate Bridge Club annual Charity Bridge Game at St. John’s Church was a great success. Forty players particiapted and the proceeds of $100 went to the American Diabetes Society. The results were as follows: North-South: 1st. Mr. and Mrs. Stanislas Czetwertynski; 2nd. Mrs. J. T.
