Department of Justice Police Information Network Training Class in 1972. 1974, 1976, 1978 and 1980 He attended Blue Ridge Technical Institute in 1971, 1978 and 1979, Asheville-Buncombe Technical Institute 1972, Isothermal Community College in 1975 and 1980 He is a member of Police Executives Association Continued On Back Page Hospital Board Elects Officers The annual meeting of the Board of Trustees, St. Luke’s Hospital, Inc. was held January 21.1982 Prior to the meeting of the Board members and Medical Staff members were served dinner in the hospital cafeteria by the Dietary Department Joseph G. Claud was introduced to Board members by 0. 0. Paulsell, Chairman of the Board Mr. Claud was elected to a three year term to succeed Horace Smith, whose term expired after serving on the Board for the past nine years Also elected to a three year term was R. Anderson Haynes. James Stott was appointed to another three year term by the Polk County Commissioners. Board of Trustees Officers for the coming year are 0. O. Paulsell, Chairman; Mrs. Bertha Blomfield-Brown, Vice- Chairman: Richard Palmer, Treasurer; and Bennett Hinsdale, Secretary. For Tryon School Board lion Viehninn Don Viehman filed Wednesday morning for the Tryon School Board Mr. Viehman, 47, is originally from Orlando. Florida where he graduated from Orlando High School and then attended college in California. He is in real estate with C. Allan Pruelte and Associates and is Vice President of the Polk County Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the JJDP Task Force, Tryon Planning and Zoning Board and the Polk County Economic Development Commission He and his wife, Myrna, have been married for 26 years and have six children and two grandchildren They live on Warrior Drive and have two children at home, Pattie, age 13 and Peter, age 17.
