101 Pints Collected
At Bloodmobile
The Red Cross Bloodmobile ,
collected 101 pints of blood
Monday at the Church of Holy 1
Cross parish hall. The blood was
collected from 118 individuals
who volunteered their blood to
help save a life.
Polk Central Gives
48 Pints Of Blood
On March 12th 48 pints of blood
were given at the Red Cross
Bloodmobile at Polk Central High
School. Sixty persons volunteered
to donate their blood. First time
donors were: John Gilbert, Vicki
Haynes, Jeff Harris, Phillip
Gilmore, Tina Searcy, Jamie
Davis, Martha Painter, Janet
Gilbert, Robert Capazzi, Pam
Bumgardner, Wanda Sain, Nicky
Kuykendall, Beth LeBlanc,
Philip Barnett, David Ramsey.
A New Arrival
Mr. and Mrs. Rick Howell of
Rt. 2, Mill Spring are parents of a
son, Jeffrey Landrum, born
March 16th at Mary Black
Hospital. He weighed 8 lbs., 2 oz.
Maternal grandparents are Mr.
and Mrs. Beauford Arledge of Rt.
2, Mill Spring. The maternal
great-grandmother is Mrs. Dora
Arledge of Rt. 1, Mill Spring. The
maternal great grandfather is
James Blythe of Flat Rock.
The paternal grandparents are
