Melissa Williams of SCSDB finished first in the 100 meters. In the boys meet, Barry Thompson of Landrum, recorded his best time of 10:28.0 in the two- mile run. Keith Green, also of Landrum, qualified in the two- mile. Thompson finished second in the race and Green was fourth. Mark Miller, in the shot put, threw his best distance ever of 42- 10 in qualifying for the state meet.
