The Republicans will have a primary for County Commission er with incumbent Ken Faulkner. Tim McCormack. Bill Crowell and Joan Nash competing for the three spots The Democrats have Carson Deck. Sue Cochran and incumbent Rachel Ramsey. In the Sheriff's ace. incumbent Boyce Carswell and Don Splawn will compete in the Democrat Primary while the Republicans failed to have a candidate In the Clerk of Court race. Judy P Arledge. Democrat incumbent was the only candidate to file and will not have an opponent in the primary or general election. In the non-partisan school board race. Geoffrey Balkam in Green Creek and Ann P Whitmire in Cooper Gap will not have opposition. In Tryon Township, incumbent Georgia Pack and Bill McKaig have filed for the seat and in Columbus Township incumbent Phillip Fischer and Phillip Fcagan have filed for the single seat.
