Habitat Store To Move
From Barn Door
Habitat Resale Store manager
Chuck Doster announced that
Habitat's Barn Door Theater
location on Rutherford St. in
downtown Landrum will be
vacated by Habitat by April 11
"We will be out in time for the
Foothills Humane Society to hold
their auction on April 14." Doster
said He indicated that the
Habitat Resale Store operation
will be consolidated at the
original Habitat store location on
N Trade St. in Landrum
He said that Habitat expects to
expand its space in the N Trade
St. building so as to provide more
room for the furniture,
appliances, carpets and other
household items being constantly
donated to Habitat He indicated
that a clearance sale will be held
at the Barn Door location April 4
through April 7.
All profits made by the Habitat
Resale Store from sales of
donated items are turned over to
Thermal Belt Habitat for
Humanity where they are used to
help build homes for needy

guest speaker will be Lisa
Wilson, Polk County EMS
Director. Mrs. Wilson will speak
on “The Future of EMS in Polk
County." Steve Wyatt is in
charge of the program.
