Wife In
“High Spirits”
Christine Fitch
Christine Fitch, renowned
singer and actress with a host of
credits in hit shows both here and
abroad, will play the part of Ruth
Condomine, second wife of
Charles (Dean Campbell), in
“High Spirits,” the musical that
TLT will present at the Fine Arts
Center October 4-7.
At the outset, Ruth, who has
been happily married to Charles

Lions Meet
Columbus Lions will meet
tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the
Western Steer in Columbus.
At the last meeting a camper
from Columbus that spent a week
at Camp Dogwood talked about
her experiences. Being this was
the first camper sponsored by the
local club her talk gave them
insight on the needs of future
campers. Camp Dogwood is the
North Carolina Lions Camp for
the Blind, located in Sherrill's
Ford on Lake Hartwell.
Supported by donations this
camp gives a blind person the
special things needed to be able
to enjoy doing things they
normally can’t. Horseback
riding, arts and crafts and water
sports like boating and
swimming are offered.
The club will be repairing the
cross on Tryon Peak and hope to
have it ready for the Christmas
Season again this year.
The Candy day was a success
and Columbus Lions wish to
thank all who made it so. Your
support gives us the desire to
continue serving the community
with all our projects: White Cane,
Eye Bank, Free Scanning, The
Cross, Camp Dogwood, Elida
Home and Hosp. Equipment. —
