C. 28782 TLT To Hold Auditions Tryon Little Theater will hold open auditions for its next pro duction, "Send Me No Flow ers," on Monday and Tuesday, March 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Tryon Fine Arts Center. Dean Campbell, veteran actor and director, will conduct the auditions. HE will also direct the production. Scripts are available for check-out from The Book Shelf in Tryon. "Send Me No Flowers" is a comedy written by Norman Barasch and Carroll Moore that tolls the story of a hypochon driac who mistakenly believes he is dying, and what that belief brings out in himself and the people around him, before and after learning it is all a mistake. Tire cast will be made-up of eleven characters as follows: Three men, 40ish; one man, 60ish; one man, early 20's, two many, any age; one woman, 40ish; two women, mid 20's; one comedienne, any age, (cemetery plot sales person.) All Dem ocrats in Precinct 2 are invited. 8 Pages Today 20C Per Copy Mill Spring Woman Killed Carol Faulkner Barber, 26, of Mill Spring died Sunday after her car hit a utility pole on Clearwater Road near Landrum. According to the S.C. High way Patrol, the accident occured around 1:50 a.m. Sun day. No other vehicles were involved. No other details were avail able. Three Locals Make Tournament Team Kevin Wood and Shawn Suber of Polk County made the Appalachian 1-A boys basket- ball all-tournament team, it was announced last weekend. J.J. Bumgartner of Polk County made the girls all- tournament team. Hendersonville defeated Polk, 64-55 Friday night to take the tournament championship. Shawn Suber scored nine points of his 11 in the second half. Other scorers for Polk were: Miller 8, Gregory 2, Wood 7, Taylor 2, Larry Fagan 10, Canady 8, Burnett 3, and Anderson 4.
