That's when the Bulletin's press broke down, 'flic impres sion arm simply cracked. John Lawrence and his staff at the Landrum News Leader have agreed to print the Bulletin on their web press - on newsprint paper - until the press repair man from Georgia can visit and make the repairs. Ledbetter of Black Mountain. —Community Reporter Recycling For Landrum Prospects for establishing recycling centers in Landrum- sponsored by the city of Spar tanburg County, or both', will be discussed at the Friday, April 5th meeting of the Landrum Civic League. James Ashmore, who has been spearheading local efforts to encourage recycling of paper, glass and plastics, will report on current activities and develop ments. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, at 3 p.m. at the Landrum Civic Center. Regular season will open on Monday, April 15. The league will consist of seven men's and four women's teams. The league still has openings for either men's or women's teams before April 5. Students are quizzed on a selection of books that they have been required to read.
