Dr. Whitney is a native of Memphis, Tenn., received his B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of the South at Sewanee, Tenn, and his MD degree from the Medi cal University of South Caro lina in Charleston. His exten sive medical training in geriat rics, family practice and therapy has taken him to Northwestern, Chicago's St. Joseph's Hospital, Oregon Health Sciences Uni versity and the University of Minnesota.
