Ten Churches In
Missions Conference
Ten Southern Baptist
churches of Polk Baptist Asso
ciation will be participating
from March 29 to April 1 in a
World Missions Conference.
A Rally and Missions Fair
will be held Saturday night
March 28 at 7:30 p.m. at
Columbus Baptist Church to
kick off the conference and
honor missionaries who will be
speaking in the participating
churches. The special speakers
represent missionaries from
four foreign countries, four
home states and two from our
state of N.C.
The program, sponsored by
Polk Baptist Association is
designed to acquaint the people
with the mission effort in a
cooperative program of minis
tries at home and abroad. It
challenges churches to become
more actively involved in their
support of more than 3,700
missionaries serving in 120
foreign countries and more than
3,700 home missionaries
engaged in meeting physical
and spiritual needs of people in
all 50 states of our nation.
Conferences will be con
ducted Sunday morning and
successive evenings through
Wednesday at each of the fol
lowing churches according to
their set meeting times.

Coopers Gap Baptist, Faith
Baptist Church, Green Creek
Baptist Church, Hickory Grove
Baptist Church, Morgan Chapel
Baptist Church, Pacolet Hills
Baptist Church, Sandy Springs

Creek Baptist Church.
All meetings are free and
open to the public.

Town Hall on Tuesday, March 31,
