wife, Martha, have recently
purchased 3 acres on Miller
Mountain from Tom and Joyce
Hanis of Tryon.
The Ulmers plan to build their
home away from home in the
near future.
Richard and Martha are from
Charleston, S.C., and have four
children, and several grandchil
dren. Their daugliter, Katherine,
is presently attending Furman
University.
The Ulmers enjoy singing.
Both Richard and Martha are
well known in and around the
Charleston area for their beau
tiful voices and sing with the
Baptist Church Choir.
