February 15, after much hard work, the T.L.C. Pony Club team competed at the Coach- wood Combined Dressage and Jumping test in Simpsonville, S.C. Despite torrents of rain thru most of the day Jan New ton on Rocky earned 3rd place in the Pre Novice Division; Shannon Rhodes on Charity placed 2nd in the DI Dressage Test, Tadpole Division. Patrick Simon rode in the Pre Novice Dressage and Jumping also holding his own in the down pour. March 8, Mrs. Martha Kem mer held a dressage clinic for our club. Riders learned quite a bit that afternoon and enjoyed having Mrs. Kemmer instruct ing. Dr. Harry and Mrs. Tippy Brown shared their cross coun try course with the club and Kelly and Annette Murphy gave the club a fun time Beagling. Karen Heckman instructs our riders. The Pony Club is open to anyone who has children. Meetings are alternate Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m. Next meeting will be April 6. .
