Outreach Ministry
The Thermal Belt Outreach
Ministry (TBOM) was the reci
pient of a check for $570 at the
March 16 PYP meeting at the
Tryon Presbyterian Church.
This donation was the result
of a book sale conducted by
PYP on Feb. 29 at the church.
Nancy McPherson presented the
check to Eloise Thwing, Chair
man of the TBOM Board.
It is anticipated that other
church groups will be raising
funds to support this joint
church activity. For further

Open Season
Opening Day for the Red Fox
Men's Golf Association's 1992
season is scheduled for
Wednesday, April Sth.
The day will begin with
breakfast served at 8 a.m. The
opening event will be a Wing
Ding. To register, simply call
the pro shop at 894-8251
before Tuesday noon. Teams
will be drawn according to han
dicaps; the shotgun tee-off is
scheduled for 9 a.m.
Anyone having questions
about opening day at Red Fox
or joining the Men's Golf Asso
ciation should call the pro
shop. The full schedule of
events for the entire 1992 men's
golf season is also available at
the pro shop.
According to Jim Gentry,
Wednesday Event Chairman,
there will be an interesting
variety of events this year, with
