Lions To Serve
Academic Banquet
The Landrum Lions Club is
planning to serve a crowd of
about 600 students and family
members dinner May 4.
Tire occasion will be Landrum
High School's Academic
Banquet, held to honor out
standing students.
About 25 Lions will be on
hand to serve.

Lindsay Killough is cast as
Margot Frank, older sister of
Anne, in The Diary of Anne
Frank, the play that Tryon
Little Theater will present at
Tryon Fine Arts Center April
30, May 1,2, and 3.
In the play, Margot has a sta
bilizing influence on her family
and friends while they are hid
ing from the Nazis in a tiny attic
in Amsterdam during World
War II. She is a placid, quiet,
studious, sedate young girl, in
marked contrast with Anne,
who at times is volatile, exub
erant, and stormy.
A native of Tryon and a
sophomore at Tryon High,
Lindsay is making her second
appearance with TLT, having
made her debut in Fiddler on
the Roof in the role of Chava,
the youngest of Tevye's three
daughters. She will also be
remembered for her portrayal of
Patty, the smug goodie-goodie
girl in Grease, the musical pre
sented by Tryon Youth Center
last summer. She also appeared
in TYC's production of Peter
Pan in 1988. An accomplished
vocalist, she has sung with the
Community Chorus for the last
six years.
