Steeplechase Issue
Ad Deadline Earlier
The advertising deadline
for the Friday, April 17 issue of
the Bulletin has been moved up.
This was done so that the
Bulletin staff can handle the
increased volume of advertising
for its annual Block House
Steeplechase issue.
Advertisers planning a half
page or larger for the April 17
issue are asked to bring in their
copy as soon as possible, but no
later than Tuesday, April 14 at
11 a.m.
Easter Egg Hunts
The Spartanburg County
Parks and Recreation Dept,
will conduct its sixth annual
Easter Egg Hunt at nine loca
tions in both the city and county
for children 8 years of age and
younger. Hunts will be held in
Landrum at the Brookwood
Park, Thurs., Apr. 9, at 11 a.m.
(rain date Apr. 10).
Children should bring con
tainers in which to collect eggs,
they will hunt for both candy
and plastic eggs, each plastic
egg has a small toy inside. First,
second and third place prizes
(large Easter baskets) will be
awarded in two age groups to
the children who find the large,
golden, prize-winning eggs.
