Four Polk County band students successfully auditioned for the
Western North Carolina District Band on February 21. From left:
Marii Gil, flute; Charlie Culbreth, baritone, Scott Culbreth, tuba;
and Danny Boles, alto sax. Marii Gil and Charlie Culbreth
played in the Junior High Concert Band; Scott Culbreth played in
the Higli School Wind Ensemble; and Danny Boles played in the
Junior High Wind Ensemble.
