uda on Saturday, April 11.
Approximately 100 people
braved the thunder and rain to
view the porcelain figures by
Catharine and Margaret for the
two-woman show which runs
April 11 through June 30.
Catharine Brown, who lives in
Asheville, is also a gardener
and creates works in porcelain
to inhabit the garden. "By plac
ing my angels and goddesses
alongside plants, rocks, water
and soil I share a sense of con
nection with all creation."

Gallery owners DeKay and
Seiler noted that the show tim
ing is appropriate for the spring
season. Many visitors also had
the opportunity to examine the
on-premise made hammocks
and chairs, wearable art and
jewelry.
The evening show was com
plemented by classical guitarist
Michael Miller who played
during the reception.
