P.C. Jr. High Girls defeat Edneyville
The newly-formed Polk County Girls' Jr High Track Team
won a victory Apr 3 in their first-ever track meet. Fifteen girls
helped defeat Edneyville 64-63.
Sherry Arledge took first place in the 200 meter run, but no time
was recorded because the clocks weren't running. Lori Buntgar
ner came in first in the 800 meter run with a time of 3:02.11 an
the long jump (13' 4"). Erin Corcoran was first in the 100
urdles event at 23.17 seconds and Donna McEntyrc ran the

meter hurdles event
100 meter dash in 13.77 seconds.
Donna McEntyrc, Sherry Arledge, Lori Bumgardner and Sektna
Tyson were on the winning 800 meter relay team. In the 400
meter relay open Donna McEntyre, Kristi Johnson and Yolanda
Gray came in first with a time of 59.76 seconds.
