League got its first
no-hitter Saturday afternoon
at Ernie Shore Field.
Stokesdale A's manager
Allison Frazier, at 38 the
leagues senior member,
stopped Oak Ridge 2-0.
The loss was the fifth
straight for Oak Ridge in
Icagut play. They have yet to
swin and are in the league
cellar.
Stokesdalc's victory moved
them into sixth place in the
WSBL with a 2-4 record.
Meanwhile the Greensboro
All-Stars remained undefeated
and atop the league

Braves 5-1, and shut out the
Pond Giants 5-0 on .Friday
night.
The Winston-Salem Indians
remained in hot pursuit taking
a 7-1 victory over the Pirates
and extending their winning
streak to four games. They
have a 16-3 overall record and
arc 4-1 in league play.
The Greensboro Knights
kept pace with the Indians
claiming two victories. They

wins tied the Knights with the
