Michael Brown a 6-5 senior *
forward has been dropped
from the Winston-Salem State
Ram basketball squad.
Brown from Dobbs Ferry,
New York emer^t^from the
halftime of :the feams- garner,
with Livingstone last Thursday
night in street clothes.
A member of the All-CIAA
tournament team last season,
Brown was expected to be: a
big part of the Rams drive for
the league title this season.
Through the first six games he
was the teams second leading
scorer and rebounder. Brown
then began to have problems
with his knees, a problem liter
^diagnosed as arthrkis-and^was
forced to miss two games. He
never returned to his old form
and began to see less and less<$
playing time as freshman
Mike Robinson began to show
improvement. He did not start
another game until that night
in Salisbury.
Brown, when asked to

painful heel injury. Doctors
expect Helton to be out for a
