(SECCA) announces its second
Semi-Annual Seminar
to be held January 16-18.
The Seminar is designed to
present~~a~ series of slide
lectures,?given?by?profes-?
sionals from the region^on?
the historical, aesthetic, and
technical aspects of sculpture.
A focus of the Seminar will
be the changes that threedimensional
art (sculpture)
has undergone in material,
process ?_and expression, The,_
- professIonalSparticipatiilg in?
the seminar are directly involved
with wulpture ^ctively
in the southeastern, region.
On Monday, January
16, Mary Mintich, a sculptor
from Belmont, N.C., will
present an overview, of
southeastern sculpture today?

In the morning session on
Tuesday, January 17, sculptors
John Acorn of Clemson,
S.U., Tom Suomalainen of
Walnut Cove, N.Q, and S.

In the NCNB Plaza and
Hanes Mall in Winston-Sa*lem.
Paul Manson of Radford,
Va. will lecture about
natural forms in sculpture.
