Spillman, assistant professor of music and chairman of the Organ Department at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, will give his recital on a 40-voice pipe organ that is augmented with electronics, the first such organ to be installed in the ^state. Spillman's program will include works by Olivier Messiaen, Cesar Franck, Johann S. Bach and Tho? mats Kerr, a black composer. Spillman has studied at Dillard and Indiana universities and holds a degree as doctor of music in organ performance from Indiana University School of Music.
