Anyone who has been
around Winston-Salem for
the past five years has at
least heard OP if not
heard the harmonious
Electric Fudge. They have
just completed a major
overhauling, changing
Managers and other per
sonnel within the organi
zation.
Raymond L. Evans has
been named new manager
by the band and according
to Jimmy Fennel, spokes
man and guitarist for the
group, is very promising
as to the other manage-
ring problems they have
encountered. He is well
liked by aU members.
The band has plans for
going to the studio (for
demo purposes only) in
June. They have a blue
print that when ques
tioned about, they con
cealed and protected very
discreetly. 1 have heard
rumors of their changing
their name which again

They have changed
their entire format and as
a result are getting more
engagements. EFB are
presently playing Cross-
over-Top 40 material and
that could get them into
many of the local clubs
which is rather hard for
local talent in the area
unless you’re good.
Electric Fudge has
made contacts with a few
major artist and record
companies. Last year on
the Sylvers Show in
Greensboro, the band
drew thunderous applause
from the crowd after ope
ning the show. They uere
approached afterwards by
Roy Ayers for a di-mo
tape. Again, I ran into a
dead end as news is kept
The young lady is headed for the finish line, and hopefully on to state, meet in
High Point as she easily wins the 50 yard dash in the Special Olympics.
