City of Winston-Salem, North
Carolina is seeking written, sealed
proposals from responsible vendors
for a fully programmed,
stand alone minicomputer system
based upon the specific and
general requirements outlined in
the detailed specifications. Proposal
forms and specifications ma>
be picked up between 8:30 a.m.
and 5:00 p.m. daily, Monday
through Friday at the Authority
Central Office, 901 ClevelarkL
Avenue, Winston-Salem, North
Carolina. Proposals will be received
until 10:00 a.m. (EDST) on
Monday, Jtriy 14, 1980, and then
publicly opened and read aloud. A
certified check or bank draft,
(payable to the Housing Authority
of the City of Winston-Salem)
U.S. Government bonds, or a""
satisfactory bid bond executed by
the bidder shall be submitted with
each bid. An award will tx; made to
the lowest, most responsible bid
which, in the judgment of the
Authority, best meets the current
needs and long term goals of our
agency. The criteria for making
this judgement will be based on,
but not limited to, price, hardware,
availability, applications,
programs and the service and experience
of the vendor. Additionally,
other requirements or
restraints tdat may be imposed by
the U.S. Department of Housing
and Urban Development (HUD)
will weigh heavily in this decision.
The Housing Authority of the City
of Winston-Salem reserves the
right to reject any or all prbpdsats
and/or to waive any formalities in
the solicitation process.
