* LEGAL NOTICES ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids will be received by The Housing Authority of the City of Winston-Salem at The Housing Authority Offices, 901 Cleveland I Avenue, Winston-Salem, NC until 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 1963; at which time the Bids will be opened and read publicly for the construction of the following: Parking Lota Klmbcrly Park Tamces Winston-Salem. North Carolina ? Separate prime bids will be received for each type of construction: . General Construction Bidding Documents may be examined in the office of the Architect, in the Greensboro, North Carolina and Charlotte. North Carolina offices of F.W. Dodge Corporation, and in the Triad and Charlotte offices of the Associated General Contractors of America. The work of this project consists of the construction of two parking lots on parcel 130A; bounded by Trade Street, Derry Street, and Glenn Avenue; and one parking lot on parcel 165A, bounded by Trade Street, Derry Street and located hetwMn NnrtKm*?? bahUu??<i Street. Clearing the site, demolition of existing steps and retaining walls, grading, paving, curb and gutters, drainage, landscaping, and playground equipment shall be included. All bidding contractors must be duly licensed as required by North Carolina law and North Carolina License Number shall appear on bid 4 and sealed envelope containing bid. Bids must be on the standard form provided by the Architect, and must be marked to identify the type of prime contract noted hereinbefore. Qualified prime contractors may obtain Bidding Documents beginning March 10, 1983, in the office of the Architect, HammillWalter Associates, Inc., Suite 201, 723 Coliseum Drive, Winston9 Salem, North Carolina, upon deposit of $25.00 per set of documents. The full deposit will be returned to all prime bidders upon return of the Bidding Documents in good usable condition within ten (10) days after the date set for receipt of bids. After ten (10) days, the Bidder's deposit will be forfeited. Additional copies of the Bidding Documents may ^e obtained at the office of the Architect upon payment of $1.00 per printed sheet of Drawings, and " $.15 per printed page of the Project Manual. Full sets of the Project Mahual may be purchased at the cost of $10.00 per volume. The purchase price it non-refundable. Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity and payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the specifications must be paid on this project. All bidders shall be required to execute a Non-Collusive Affidavit which shall be attached to the bid form. A Bid Guarantee will be required with each Bid. The Guarantee shaft be in the sum equal to 5<fr of the gross Base Bid. A Payment and Performance Bond will be required in the sum equal to lOOVo of the Contract Stun. -?
