"The Contract," a drama by North Carolina Black Repertory
Company resident playwright Nathan Ross Freeman, is being cast
for its "Southern Premiere," to be performed in Winston-Salem
April 11 through 13. The company needs experienced actors to fill
the very demanding roles that make up the cast of two males, ages
28 to 35 and 35 to 50, and one female, 25 or over. Audition is by

Mid-Eastern America Enterprises Inc. will sponsor "Showcase
*86" March 29 at the M.C. Benton Convention Center. The company
will be taking applications for the modeling and talent divisions
of-^the competition Friday, Feb. 28. Contestants in
"Showcase '86" will be viewed by talent scouts, agents and
representatives from New York City, CBS and "Starsearch." For
