She was a native of Forsyth County.
Ms. Simmons \sas a member of Power House of
deliverance in Greensboro, where she served as
naticVa^l missionary president and on the executive
board for the Power House of Deliverance and as
a trustee for the local church. She is survived by
her husband, Bishop Abraham B. Simmons of the
home; six daughters, V. Lorraine Fuller of
Washington, Sandra S. Leak, Veronica Watts,
Shelia Bonner, Deborah S. Witherspoon, all of
Winston-Salem, and Venessa S. Stewart of
Greensboro; two sons, Benjamin L. Simmons of
the home and Marion L. Simmons of WinstonSalem;
13 grandchildren; seven sisters, Rena C.
Panned, Mary B. Covington, Emma C. George,
Martha C. Oakes, Odessa C. Hardeman, Annie C.
Toland and Ella C. Moor^, all of Winston-Salem;

Services were held at noon on Monday, Jan. 12,
at Power House of Deliverance Church in
Greensboro, with Bishop J.W. Henderson
officiating. Burial followed in Evergreen
Cemetery. Gilmore's Funeral Home was in charge
of the funeral arrangements. y

Home died recently in Forsyth Memorial
Hospital.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 9,.
at Woodland Cemetery, with, words of comfort by
Thomie Douthit. Burial followed in Woodland
Cemetery.

Noah Vanory King of 4650 Baux Mountain
Road died Friday, Jam-9, at Baptist Hospital. He
was a native of Greenville, S.C., and a retired
employee of K&W.
King was a Baptist. He is survived by his wife,
Minnie K. King of the home; three daughters,
Martha James of Cleveland, Gloria Bolden of
Asheville and Mary lirown of Atlanta; two sons,
