Leak recently realized his long time dream- of organizing a solid, congregation-oriented church when Solid Rock Baptist Church was organized Sunday, June 7. The church will assist students by awarding scholarships to deserving students. The church will also re-invest its money in its Cvnl Am l.a|jiui 11 iy. nn Exploring is the young adult division of the Boy Scouts of America, for young men and women 14 through 20. Explorer Posts are organized by businesses, churches, professional societies and other community organizations. An Explorer Post is set up to match the interests of young adults with adult expertise and knowledge. For example, a radio or television station might design an Explorer Post and invite young adults who are interested in electronic media to come twice a month to learn and experiment with the equipment. What makes the Explorer pro gram so unique is mai u is designed around the interest of youth. Explorer Posts can specialize in many subjects and activities. For example, in seaboard regions, there are Sea Explorer Posts. ^They range from a group of youth sailing, under adult supervision, twice a month, to deepsea scuba diving all summer with certified divers.
