MARION RIVERS SR From Page B7 nit Mr. Marion Rivers Sr. of 217 W. 23rd Si. died Thursday. April 14, at his home. He was a native of iJ Hartsville, S.C., and had lived most of his adult life in Winston-Salem. He was a retired employee of AT&T and a veteran of World War II. He was a member of United Metropolitan Baptist Church. He is survived by seven children, Mr. Marion Rivers Jr., Mr. Larry Little, Ms. Brenda R. Wharton ht. James Rivers, Ms. Nadine R. Hosch, all of Win ston-Salem, Mr. Charles Rivets of San Francisco and Ms. Joettc Little of Winston-Salem; a devoted aunt Ms. Blanch Wells of Winston-Salem; several other rel atives and friends. Claric S. Brown and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements. MR. MONROE CLINTON HART SR. Mr. Monroe Clinton Hart Sr. of 1616 Catherine St. died Wednesday, April 13, at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He was a naUve of the Goodwill com munity in Davidson County and had lived in Philadel phia for more than 30 years. He was a longshoreman at the Pennsylvania waterfront. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louvie K. Hart of Winston-Salem; four children, Ms. Geraldine C. Hart, Ms. Peggy H. Galloway, both of Winston-Salem, Ms. Christine L. Hart of Wilmington and Mr. Monroe C. Hart Jr. of Roanoke, Va.; one sister, Ms. Geneva Blackman of Philadelphia; two brothers, Mr. Bamabus Hart of Atlanta and Mr. Joseph Hart of W'inston- Salem; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; a dear friend, Ms. Hattie Wilson of Philadelphia; many other relatives and friends. Services were held Saturday, April 16, at Clark S. Brown and Sons Funeral Home, with the Rev. Henry S. Lewis officiating. Burial followed in Goodwill Bap tist Church Cemetery. Clark S.
