In the only rout of the day, the

while Milton Vaughn and Chalres
Haney had 11 each.
The Big Apple League runs
each Saturday for the next several
weeks, with games beginning at
10 a.m. at the Hanes Hosiery
Recreation Center.
Funderburk stressed that
admission is free.
"There is some pretty good
basketball being played out here,”
he said.
"Most of these guys have a lot
of organized ball under their belts.
This is a great league."
Though he has been trying,
Funderburk has yet to obtain full
sanctioning from the NCAA.
"That would let us really take
off," said Funderburk, who has
been seeking the NCAA's blessing
for the last two years.
"That would let us get guys in
here with remaining college eligi
bility."
