Graham St. ! died Saturday, Oct. 29, at Baptist Hospital. He was a j native of Darlington, S.C., and had lived in Winston- Sa em for 52 years. He was a retired employee of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. He was a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church, where he served on the ‘ Deacon Board. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Lash and Ms. Rosetta Wright, both of Winston- • Salem; two sons, Mr. William Wright and Mr. Frank Wright, both of Winston-Salem; 22 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchil dren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services were held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, at St. Matthews Baptist Church, with the Rev. J.R. Stowe officiating. Burial followed in Piedmont . Memorial Gardens. Clark S. Brown and Sons Funer al Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements. Mrs. Mable Moore of 1604 E. 22nd St. died Fri day, Oct. 28, at Baptist Hospital. She was a native of Lee County, S.C., and had lived in Winston-Salem for the past year. She was a member of Mount Tema Baptist Church. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Estell Porter and Mrs. Carolyn Porter, both of Winston-Salem; one son, Mr. Issace Moore of Winston-Salem; sever al nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Services were held at 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, at Mount Tema Baptist Church in Lydia, S.C. and burial followed in the church cemetery. Hooper Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrange ments. MR. JAMES EPPS MRS. MAMIE E. NEAL Mrs. Mamie E. Neal, 91, of 844 Rich Ave. died I Thursday, Oct. 27, at Baptist Hospital. She was bom in Rock Hill, S.C., and had lived in Winston-Salem for about 70 years. L She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist • Church, where she was a member of the Deaconess * Board, the Hattie File Club and the Senior Mission ary Circle, Debra Group; she was also a member of the Ladies Progressive Club, Skyland Senior Citi zens Club, Meridian Chapter of Eastern Star No. 308 and the Rich Avenue Know Thy Neighbor Club. She was a retired employee of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon •- Hanes. She is stuvived by one daughter, Mrs. Madie N. Holland of the home; one son, Mr. Earl B. Neal Jr. of Harbor City, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Services were held Monday, Oct. 31, at Mount -Zion Baptist Church, with Dr. Serenus T. Chum offi ciating. Mr. James Epps of 935 E. 19th St. died Monday, Oct. 31, at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. He was retired employee of R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alvesta Epps of the home; his son, Mr. Homid Lateef; his daughter, Ms. Margaret L. Epps; a daughter-in-law, Ms. Erma Lateef; 11 grandchildren, Ms. Jarma Allen, Ms. Kar- rone Meeks, Ms. Romel Brown, Ms. Marla Walker, Mr. Roderick E. Epps, Mr. Tyrone Epps, all of Cali fomia, Ms. Tasha Epps, Mr. Christopher Epps and Ms. Jarmara Allen, all of Winston-Salem; many other relatives and friends. Services were held at the Hooper Funeral Home, with the Rev. J.A. Quick officiating. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery. Hooper Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements. MRS. SELENA M. CRAIG MR. RALPH CORNELL WILKINS Mr. Ralph Cornell Wilkins, 60, of 3806 Carver Road died Friday, Oct. 28, at Forsyth Memorial Hos pital. He was a lifelong resident of Winston-Salem, : where he attended the Forsyth County schools and ; was a graduate of Winston-Salem Teachers College. ■ He was a retired employee of Piedmont Airlines. He was a member of Macedonia Holiness Church of God Inc. Mrs. Selena M. Craig of the Pellcaic Nursing Home died Saturday, Oct. 29, at the nursing home. She was bom July 27, 1894, in Charleston, S.C., to the late Joseph and Mollie Manigault. She attended Avery Institute in Charleston and later met and mar ried Walter Oakford Craig of Salem, N.J. They had four children. She was a woman dedicated to her family, but first and foremost she was a devoted Christian whose life revolved around helping the less fortunate. In 1918, due to her declining health. Mrs. Craig and her husband, who preceded her in death, moved to Winston-Salem to live with their daughter, Mrs. Mollie C. Wagner. He is survived by one son, Mr. Robert Wilkins of Wnston-Salem; his father, Mr. James K. Wilkins of the home; two brothers, Mr. Ernest Wilkins of Winston-Salem and Mr. H. Wilkins of the home; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Lois J. Wilkins and Mrs. H. Wilkins, both of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren; a devoted friend, Mrs. Marcella Moss of Winston- Salem; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mollie C Wagner of Winston-Salem; three sons. Dr. Walter O. Craig Jr. of Baton Rouge, La., Mr. Henry L. Craig of Sharon, Mass., and Mr. Irvine N. Craig of Overland Park, Kansas; three daughters-in-law; 18 grandchil dren; 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephewS; grand-nieces, grand-nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services were held at 3 p.m on Tues day, Nov. 1, at Evergreen Cemetery. Hooper Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements. MRS. VIRGINIA HESTER ; Services were held Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Macedo nia Holiness Church of God, with Bishop R.K. Wise ; officiating. Burial followed in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. Johnson-Howard-Robinson Home of , Memory was in charge of the funeral arrangements. Mrs. Virginia Hester of 926 N. Rich Ave. died Monday, Oct. 31, at L. Richardson Hospital. She was a devoted member of St. Mark Lutheran Church; she was active in the Sunday school and in many other concerns of the church.
