Golden Renewal Eddice and Charles Martin cel ebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewal of vows at a 10 a.m. Mass on Sunday, Jan. 22, In St. Bene dict the Moor Catholic Church. The Mass was followed by a reception In the church's parish center. The hosts were members of the Family Life Commission of the church, headed by Mary Boswell of Winston-Salem. The Martins have a daughter, Eddice Charlette Barksdale of Wln ston-Salem, and two grand sons, Tobe Z. Barksdale of Worcester, Mass., and Martin K. Barksdale of Winston Salem. Martin is a retired real estate broker. Mrs. Martin is a registered nurse at Charter Hospital of 'Winston-Salem. Area Deaths And Funerals MRS. LIZZIE C. WALKER charge of the funeral arrangements. , Mrs. Lizzie C. Walker of 2310 Greenway Ave. died Friday, Jan. 13, at her home. She was a native of Newberry, S.C., and a retired employee of R.JL Reynolds Tobacco Co. She was a Baptist. She is survived by two nieces, Ms. Sallie Walker and Ms. Willie Mae Coleman, both of the home; a sister-in-law, Ms. Peer Coleman of Whitmire . S ,C. ; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, other relatives and friends. Graveside services >yere held at 1 1 a.m. on Tues day, Jan. 17, in Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. J.R. Samuels officiating. Burial followed in the cemetery. Hooper Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements. ;mr. aggie sales jr. Mr. Aggie Sales Jr. of 513 W. 26th St. died .Thursday, Jan .12, at his home. He was born May 11, 1931, in Winston-Salem to Mr. Aggie Sales Sr. and the late Mrs. Odessa A. Sales. He attended Winston Salem State University and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a retired employee of R.J. Reynolds Nabisco. He is survived by his wife, Ms. Margaret L. Sales of Winston-Salem; his father, Mr. Aggie Sales Sr. of Winston-Salem; two daughters, Ms. Carolyn S7~ Johnson and Ms. Lisa S. Sales, both of Winston ' Salem; two grandchildren, Mr. Thomas Johnson Jr. and^Mrr-Mareus Johnson, both of Winston-Salem; two sons, Mr. Dennis Williams and Mr. Derwin Williams, both of Winston-Salem; one brother, Mr. ? Robert Lee Sales of Winston-Salem; three sisters, Ms. Ruthline Sales, Ms. Mamie S. Brown, both of Winston-Salem, and Ms. Ruby S. Gantt of Silver Springs, Md.; several other relatives and friends. Services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan._ ? 16, at the Hooper Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. K.O.P. Goodwin officiating. Burial followed in Ever ; green Cemetery. Hooper Funeral Home was in MRS. ALICE CAMERON Mrs. Alice Cameron of 1 1 12 E. 30th St. died Fri day, Jan. 6, at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Berkley County, S.C., and spent her early childhood life in Williamsburg County. She attended the AME Methodist Church in Lake City, S.C. She married Mr. Watson O. Cameron in 1947 in Lake City; they had three children. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Watson O. Cameron of the home; three children, Mr. Jacob Cameron, Ms. Emma Cameron and Mr. Odell Cameron, all of Winston-Salem; two sisters, Ms. Hester Ragsdale of Rochester, N.Y., and Ms. Connie McClary of Andrews, S.C.; two brothers, Mr. James Reed Jr. of Andrews and Mr. Samuel Reed of Pom pano Beach, Fla.; a mother-in-law, Mrs. Jeanette Cameron of Lake City; one daughter-in-law, Ms. Flora Cameron; one son-in-law, Mr. Jerry Penn of Winston-Salem; nine sisters-in-law; seven brothers in-law; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services were held at the Hooper Funeral Home Chapel, with Bishop James Wright officiating. Burial 'followed in Evergreen Cemetery. Hooper Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements. MRS. LUCILE F/WILLIAMS Mrs. Lucile F. Williams of 1227 E. 22nd St. died Thursday, Jan. 19, at Baptist Hospital. She was bom in Florence, S.C., and was a member of Mount Sinai Glorious Church of God, where she was a member of the Nurses' Board, the Senior Choir and the Mission ary Group. She was a retired employee of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy W.
