The Cavs will feature Chucky Brown (North Carolina State), Danny
Ferry (Duke), Brad Daugherty (North Carolina), Mark Price (Georgia
Tech) and Larry Nance (Clemson). Orlando's former ACCers are sharp
shooting Dennis Scott (Georgia Tech) and rookie Chris Corchiani
(North Carolina State).
Aside from the ACC players, other top performers include John
"Hot Rod" Williams of Cleveland and Orlando's Scott Skiles, the NBA
record holder for most assists in a single game.

Hornets vs. Nets in Greensboro
The NBA comes to Greensboro this fall when the Charlotte Hornets
face the New Jersey Nets in a pre-season game on Oct. 12 at the
Greensboro Coliseum. Tip-off time is set for 7:35 p.m.
Both the Hornets and the Nets continue to build for the future. Nev
ertheless, fans are in for a treat since the two teams have signed two of
the elite players from the college ranks.
For Charlotte, Larry Johnson, the College Player of the Year from
Nevada-Las Vegas, was the top pick in the *91 NBA Draft last June.
Johnson is expected to hefp^the^Homets^tX3tster1hetrtnstde^ame at

Kendall Gill who made the NBA's all-rookie team last season. And
there's always the ever-exciting Muggsey Bogues, the former Wake

The Nets have their share of prized young talent. For starters, they
have Derrick Coleman, formerly of Syracuse who was voted NBA Rook
