NCNW offers Starwalk dinner, theater Members of the Winston-Salem chapter of the National Council of Negro Women will participate in a "Starwalk" before their dinner and theater on Saturday, June 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the Shilohian Center, 1125 Highland Ave. Through the Starwalk, NCNW rewards mem bers of their group who make things happen. Following the awards program, dinner will be served and prepared by the Shaw Food Ser vices while guests watch the play, "Rock-a Bye-Buy-Baby," written by Cynthia R. Bailey, and directed by Junious Leak. For reservations or tickets call 723-3314. The donation is $20 per ticket and special rates are available for groups, children and students. The Black Family Reunion Cookbook will also be available for $15.95. A discount of $3 off will be applied to the original price with purchase of the ticket to the dinner and theater. The National Council of Negro Women encourages local groups to bestow honor on their high achievers. This year, along with the annual fundraiser, NCNW will recognize indi viduals and groups that helped carry out coun cil projects.
